- There are loads of mpeg players on aminet gfx/show and some encoders in
- gfx/conv. I use mp103 and it seems to work fine. I also use pprefs to promote
- output to multiscan on my multisync monitor.
-
- If you have mui installed there is a nice gui that works with it. I think it
- is in the same dir on aminet. If not it runs mpegs from cli (no conversion to
- anim necessary).
-
- As for what an mpeg stream is I am not really qualified to give a full answer
- but I think in this context it simply means your player does not recognise the
- data file as a valid mpeg file. I have not used amipeg05.
-
- As for AVI and DL and others there is a player called xanim on aminet. It
- seems to support a wide range of audio/video standards. However I have not
- been able to get it to work at the moment (distracted geting cuseeme working).
- If anyone has any wise words re xanim it would be much appreciated.
